Product Introduction:

The Micro Oxymax system from Columbus Instruments in the United States has strong applicability and is a universal closed-loop respiratory monitor. Through a closed headspace, the system can detect the concentration of gases produced by biological respiration or compound degradation. Periodically detect the concentration of gas and accurately measure the volume of the headspace of the sample to calculate the amount of gas consumed and generated. The patented technology design of Micro Oxymax enables its detection limit to approach 2 × 10-7 L/h. The system can be equipped with one or more gas sensors, so it can simultaneously detect the concentration of different types of gases. Detectable gases include oxygen, carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen. Micro Oxymax can simultaneously detect 1 to 80 samples, i.e. 1-80 channels. Users can choose the type, range, and number of channels of gas to be detected according to their application needs.
Multi gas detection, high sensitivity, multi-channel, and computer-controlled operation make Micro Oxymax highly adaptable. It has been applied in various fields of life sciences and environmental protection. Microbial respiration in soil and water research, treatment of sewage sludge, food science and preservation, insect respiration, tissue and skin respiration, botanical research, and a wider range of other fields.

Micro Oxymax is a modular design that allows users to conduct basic research using the initial configuration, or expand the instrument by increasing the number of gas detection types and/or channels in subsequent research. Its software can integrate and process data in detail, and can handle the complexity of adding other samples during the experimental process.

Micro Oxymax can also operate under limited testing conditions for all other pressure and electrolysis based breathalysts. The system can automatically compensate for pressure and temperature changes. In addition, if the detected concentration deviates beyond the limit set by the operator, the system will initiate the replacement of the gas in the main detection space. Micro Oxymax has precise counting performance and warning capability. The system can perform comprehensive self inspection and diagnosis on the configuration selected by the user.
